I just received my Pocket Hobbit today after purchasing it second hand on ebay and noticed that there are no markings on it at all. Is this common with the Pocket Hobbit? I noticed nothing on the REKAT website that mentioned that their knives could be purchased sterile. Which of REKAT's other knives are sterile with no markings.
Is there a secret as to how you are supposed to "deploy" the knife from the kydex sheath?

It's possible that you could have one that came from us sterile but it's doubtful. I know of one person that buffed off the markings on a knife so he could tell people that he made designed and made it. Go figure! We are very particular about the Patent Number on a knife it's a legal thing. Could one get past us, sure. I know this isn't a definate answere but the best I can do with out looking at the knife.

I am still curious about this. Does anyone else out there have a Pocket Hobbit without any identification on the blade? I will scan mine and post the picture tommorow.
