Hey guys just thought id share with my Kai brothers and sisters a new knife i recieved. I got this one at their warehouse sale this month. Its so simple yet it just brings a smile to my face everytime I play with it. Its got a nice stonewash finish and has no writing or marks on it anywhere. That combined with the olive drab 550 cord I wrapped it in just makes it look awesome. It actually feels quite good in the hand for just being wrapped. Its going to be a great knife for day hikes, fishing and the likes. Heres a pic of the beauty:

That looks really good! Did you rub off the writing with sandpaper or did you go straight to stonewashing?

I actually didnt modify the blade in any way. I bought it at the sale as a sterile blade blank. They were selling a box for of them. It came with a nice leather sheath and then I just wrappex the handle with paracord. The blank was a very good price too!

How does the stonewash of the fixed blade compare to the blue BF model?

Ya i wish i would of bought more too, they would have made awesome gifts. I

I dont own a bf skyline so I cant answer that for you.

Man, 6 of these for a steak knife set. Just add wood scales and you'd be in business.

Ya at some point i plan on making some scales for it but, for now, the paracord is working surprisingly well.

Looks good with the paracord! I recently got one of these when they were on sale on a well known webshop. They did come with the handle and were a bit over 12USD, but man o man what a great little fixed blade. I like the idea of five. too! They would make great steak knives indeed...
