Hello All,
I have recently noticed on my Lg. Sebenza CRK ...my sterling silver Coin ring is creating marks/ residue on the Titanium.

Is there an easy way to remove these marks?

Thank you in advance :)

CRK recommends WD40 to remove suspicious smudges/scuffs.

No idea if it will work but a careful application won't hurt.

Otherwise enjoy your snail trails.

Most likely the marks would have to be blasted off in the same manner that the original finish was done. I would let them grow and add character to the knife, chasing a perfect finish with the plain slab Sebenzas is not very time effective:thumbup:
As a general rule, I don't put anything else in the same pocket as much knife to avoid rapid marring of the finish.

What Ernie said.... If finish is important, don't do it!

From my experience with gold -- no.
The precious metal get's "in" the rough (porous) titanium surface and leaves a trace.
I wonder if that process could be used to decorate a plain Ti scale.

No way to combat this. If you want your Sebenza to have zero marks, that's going to be a tough one. Snail trails happen no matter how careful you are. You can try putting in in a leather slip sheath, that will help. My advise.....Use It and Enjoy it. Every snail trail tells of an adventure you were on with your sebenza. As far as cleaning marks that are already on it, a spa treatment is about your only avenue. Blasted titanium is rough and any softer material will become embedded into it. Almost like a sand paper. The ti will smooth over time, but that's with use.....and eeeeeek snail trails.

Thank you all for the reply... I contemplated trying to remove it...and decided not to. its my EDC and my 1878 Morgan silver dollar ring is too. so nothing can be done the marks will just keep happening.

Thanks again everyone
