Steroid question

My dog has been prescribed a couple of different steroids for Arthritis . Can this make him urinate more ? He has got to go every half hour for a couple of hours after he takes them . He is also obviously much more thirsty than usual .

For a while I had to give my dog steroids before and they do make them drink more and thus have to urinate more. For the first 3-4 days she was having to go every 30 mins.

30 minutes is it . Believe me I had him in the house for an hour the first time .L:O:L

It is not the obvious relation between drinking and peeing . It is the copious quantities in short order that surprised me . (And him)
