Remember the good ol' days when beer was discussed on this board on a daily basis? anyway...

I know there's a few that hang out around Andy's Place that are from the NYC area. Anyone going to the Steuben Parade next Saturday? A big celebration of how Germans (at least some of them...damn Hessians) helped us win the Revolution and have had a helping hand in this great country. Oh and there's a huge party afterwards in Central Park...all the oompah music, Wursts, and Kartoffelpfankuchen you can stomach, somewhere's between 7 and 9 beer trucks of GOOD German beer (not a Beck's to be found) and a Swiss Air wine concession. And somehow they manage to make it family friendly. and then there's the insane after-after parties in Yorkville.

So, who's going?

Sounds like a good time. I'm going to have to settle for our month long Octoberfest party we have here in Helen, GA. Not quite genuine, but still a good time.

Its a bit out of my range. But it does sound fun!
