Has anyone seen any of his work in person. His Japanese style knives look great on the web.

Thanks

Dave

Steve makes a super tough knife. I don't know about now, but he typically only uses carbon steel that he personally heat treats. The blades show a traditional hamon line. He has some new styles coming soon from what I have seen. Every knife that I have owned has been made from 1/4" steel. Even the neck knives are made from 1/4".
The only problem I have seen is that they do not tend to be super sharp when they arrive.
He does a super job on ray skin under cord wrap handles. Very nice, neat work on Japanese style knife handles.
