Steve Hoel: Quality Knifemaker
This is the title of an article I just finished reading in the July- August 1984 edition of The Blade Magazine. In that article, it noted that he had been a knifemaker and sold his first knife 22 years earlier. And this article is from a magazine 27 years old! I have always admired the knives that Steve made, and actually owned one at one time. It had an incredibly smooth action and the fit and finish was something to behold. I wish that I still had it. Anyway, I would love to see some of his work posted here is my Forumites would like to share. I hope that Steve is doing great and still making those beautiful knives that he does so well. :thumbup:
