I sort of have the itch for something along these lines and MAN does this knife and maker have a low web profile.

I mainly found these pages which have nice pictures but the text was a little confusing.

Hi Frac,

Mr. Ryans knives are quite hard to come by nowadays. He recently said that he wouldn't be taking orders until 2004. I was lucky enough to own one of his folders a year or so ago, but sold it. To tell you how hard they are to get, there are some people that are willing to trade custom Emerson folders for a Ryan folder. That to me is saying a lot about his knives. Good luck finding one.

Dang, just when you need a knife that looks like it is well, never mind

Hi there. You may want to shoot Larry at Bladeart a email. Last time I spoke to him he had a lefty for sale. That was a while back and it was a one off folder.

There's a For Sale post for a Jeff Hall knife on the 'other' knife forum that shows alot of Ryan's influence, is reasonably priced, and well made. Ryan and Hall are buddies, and the design influence is not coincidental.

(not my knife by the way, but its a nice piece!)
