It is too bad that the man does not have a web site, his work is really amazing.
Never gotten to hanlde it personally, or even see any of it up-close, only pictures, but still I really like what I have seen.
Someone told me awhile back that Mr.Ryan is back ordered to the extant that he does not wish his knives to be displayed, such as a web site, because of the amount of orders that would be generated by such things placed on top of is current list would be near impossible to deal with.
Dont if this is the way it is, or just rumor that got floated my way, ya'll know how htat kind of thing goes.
Just hear-say, but worth noting in this context incase it is more than hear-say.

Steve's been busy. I believe he got a flood of orders for right-hand grinds from the Japanese market, and has been trying to fill those. That being the case, he's not taking new custom orders until around October.
