Instead of a personal message to you, I'll post this here, to put you on the spot. You can thank me later.
Have you considered taking over the role of offical moderator here? You are certainly qualified, being connected to the company; you're personable, friendly, and computer savvy. And you wouldn't be standing alone.. as you can tell by now, there is a Schrade-faithful core of us here, ready and qualified to help you ID knives and answer questions.
We've had a lot of fun here the past year or so without an 'official' moderator, and I suppost our host, Spark, knows about this and perhaps has been keeping a weather eye upon the forum. But it is time we had a representative froim Schrade here, to make sure the flag gets raised every morning and lowered every evening with all due respect. The job should not take much more effort than that. Also, with a real 'SchradeGuy' here, I think it would give the forumm (and the brand) a higher stature.
Also... On the main page of the 'Manufacturers forums' is a "What's New" forum. You really should post a notice there when the new Schrade site is up and running. When you do that, it would also be an excellent time to let the other members of BladeForums know that you are our 'offical' new moderator.
