So Bladeshow 2015, for me was going to be pretty chill... I have a couple big orders coming up just after the show so I've been desperately trying to save my moolah..... BUT, I did bring one thing back with me, check it out:
This is the Steven Kelly Gulo Slimline
Specs:
Blade: 3.25"
OAL: 7.5"
Weight: 3.9oz
Steel: Chad Nichols "Tuxedo" Stainless Damascus
All Ti hardware
A buddy of mine here in Nashville (3migo) snagged Steven's proto for this model a few month back, and I was IMPRESSED. Awesome size to carry, super slim (the knife is .405 thick total). You get TONS of blade for the size of the knife, and Steven ground it sooooo thin, it's sticky sharp straight from him.
The knife is nicely understated with pops of flash where the Titanium hardware shows through. The simple handles compliment the dressy blade well. I love the look of that convexed tanto tip too.
Steven's "Vented" frame is cool too, this knife is SOO light already with 100% Ti hardware and construction.
I love the hand signed spine too... Nice touch.
It's a great size, is going to make a great carry, and it made for a great Bladeshow (not to mention seeing a buncha friends). Hope you all diggit!!
