So I picked this knife up on the Bay for $35....Was it a good buy, Also tell me about this knife, I never knew about it.

Very very good knife...that is what I got them for years ago and they retailed for over $100...you did very well with that price....Smooth opening and well made...real ray skin handle.

You made an excellent score. The textured inserts on the handles are real ray skin. It's one of the least known and under appreciated knives Kershaw ever made.

you made me look at ebay and I saw one that is now well over $60...it was in the 20s when I saw it yesterday...lol...

I don't think the person I bought it from even knew what they Had, they didnt even know whos name was on the blade. it was listed as used but blade looked amazing..guess i'll find out in a few days.

Good snag! I saw that one but just assumed it was going to go way up in price, quite the odd blade shape on those but man they are sweet!

I got it in the Mail Today...Boy I did good...Knife is in Brand New Condition minus the fact that it looks like it might have dropped one and put a tiny nick in the Scale.. I love the weight and feel of it and boy that polished blade shines..

This is probably one of my favorite knives ever...

I was always surprised they did not sell well, but I suspect it has to do with the high price when new and the dislike by some of Segal.....The knife itself is top shelf and a buy at this price point....

Excellent score! I have an un-molested one in plain edge that I can't bring myself to carry, only fondle it once in a while.

Are you guys able to flick it open? The little tiny "flipper" is too small to actually flip it open and I can't open it in one movement with the thumbstuds.

Also, I would have liked it much more without the Steven Segal stuff. I love the stingray leather, but I would never use it. I can just imagine pulling this out in front of someone and have to explain why I'm using a knife that has his name on it. If it were easier to open (either make the flipper part a flipper or stud easier to use) and removed his name, I would love the knife.

Yeah its weird to open.especially bring used to assited knives.being as heavy as it is doesn't help either.

Oh Steven Seagal. If any of you want a laugh, look up the story about how Judo Gene Lebell made him crap his pants. Cool knife, though.

I picked one up at a sporting goods store, for 50 something dollars. Only mine is PE. It is a solid knife, with reinforced spacers and it always impressed me with the way the liner lock just pops right, into place once it's close to being fully opened. If it hadn't been for the name on the blade no doubt it would have sold a lot better. As it is, it's never seemed to sell well and still doesn't bring much today.

The flipper, won't do much more than start the blade opening and requires some wrist movement to open the blade fully. But, a lot of knives that have bigger flippers do too. I have no problem opening it with the thumb stud.

I was bidding on one of these yesterday on the bay and lost but it went for about $66....Still a great deal for what you get. Did anyone see the new Steven Segal TV show? He should just retire.....I use to like him years ago, but now he is just a bad actor that has little more to offer....

^Haha That was mine. Was a little to hefty for me and need some funds for other knives. Its Going to Germany
