Steven Segal Folder?

I found a neat-looking knife for about $65: the Kershaw Steven Segal folder (model 1680). I have a few questions about this knife, but first, here's what I know...

It's 5" closed, and has black aluminum handles with stingray inserts. The slight recurve blade is 3.65" long and made of AUS-8. Two thumb studs, no flipper. EDITED to add... yeah, it has a small flipper, as evidenced by this YouTube video... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MokvhUH2Obc Linerlock. Pocket clip for right-hand tip up or down carry. Discontinued by Kershaw.

So, my questions about the knife (and not Segal himself)
1. How is the cutting performance of the AUS-8 as compared to the Sandvik being used now?
2. Does anybody have one of these that they'd be willing to shoot some photos of, other than the standard "here's the left side view of the knife"?
3. For the money ($65) is this a good bet, or is there something else (maybe another Kershaw or Spyderco?) that I should spend my money on?

Don't have the Segal, so I can't comment on it, other than it's discontinued. Perhaps some value as a collectible down the road.

I can comment on the Storm II: Its a LOT of knife for the $$. You won't be disappointed, unless you like small knives! :D

I had this folder and I would reccomend it to everyone who wants solid pocket knife. This knife opens super smooth (even smoother than my Benchmade 710).
I had very good feeling when i was holdind this knife. In my opinion it is very durable and strong knife.

Funny, I was just looking at mine last night and think the same. It's so solid
and opens so smooth. Really good blade design that cuts great. Think it's
because of the writing on the blade and the ray skin insert that it looks a little
cheesy. Pick one up at the recent prices if you can.
