Steven picked this one up from me at Reno '07.

Edited to add it's a good thing I started this one about 3 years ago or I wouldn't have had much in Reno ;)

Thanks for looking :)

STeven,

If you get tired of that one, you know where to reach me.

Nick,

Terrific piece! MAKE MORE KNIVES! ;) How is Danbo's Doom coming along?

Of course I like it too.

It makes a VERY interesting transformation: From the tip back to the guard the lines are sharp, clean, and rigid. Beyond the guard the sharp lines start to soften and melt into an organic flowing shape, the handle completely changing direction.

Cover the middle-to-back of the handle and I can envision a whole different look. But that's it's appeal. It has a split personality. ;)

Kinda like Nick: Present and then INVISIBLE! :p

We love ya still. Nice photos, especially Eric's.

Realize ye all, that the knife is finished, I don't have it yet, even though I gave Nick a check at the Reno show, because Nick is too busy with his regular job to go to the Post Office..hahahaha, patience, he says above?:D

I ask him, when I see it, at the show, "how much", he says "why, you're not going to buy it, anyway"? So, I purchased it. Great sales technique, Nick!

This one is a good sized fighter, and the thing about Nick's work on pieces like this, is, they are light and fast, almost the definition of.

I have fighters and bowies from some great makers, and as far as balance and lightness goes(excellent quality for this type of knife, it is not a rope or 2x 4 cutter), Kevin Cashen and Tim Wright are the only makers who I PERSONALLY have seen produce knives of similar handling characteristics.

I'm waiting, Nick, and pretty happy to do so.

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

STeven, do you remember BL & OAL?

Nick listed them under the picture, Kevin.

I do remember that it was around 8" blade length, but the specifics are:

8.25" blade of 320 layer random 1084/15N20
13.1875" overall

It was a very good value for the piece, Anthony, even though I initially offered Nick about $100.00 less than we eventually agreed upon.
