It's a beautiful blade, but I think there's a typo in the description. It says that the blade length is 17 3/4" and the overall length is 18 1/2". That would make the handle 3/4" long. Based on the picture, I suspect that the handle is 10 3/4" long and that the overall length is 28 1/2" rather than 18 1/2".

EMS sent. Yes. I would like to see it in person if Auntie can confirm that it's 28.5 Overall Length. If it's shorter, I will pass. Standing by for her reply.
