All,

I've made Roefisher's most excellent "specs and photos" thread sticky. I've also figured that this thread, in addition to Jame's FAQ and Ted's cleaning threads, are quite complete as references, and as such, I've closed them. I've left the "images" thread open for additional images.

Let me know if you have suggestions on administration of these stickies (merging, cleaning, opening, etc.). I'm quite willing to consider administrative changes to make these things more useful.

Thanks for the support. When I can eek out the time, I like to step up my involvement. I want our forum to be a great place for people to share what they know, folks to learn and get answers to their questions, and to have fun in the process. My selfish reasons for participation are to not only gain general knowledge myself, but also to get an idea of what's going on with our products in the customers’ hands, understand how we can improve our knives, and help prioritize new product ideas for the limited development capacity that we have. Enough of that . . . :yawn:

The main reason I'm posting: regarding the locked stickies -- while I think they're excellent references that stand on their own, I also realize that to serve us best, they should grow/evolve over time. If you (not limited to, but especially the original authors!) would like to add reference material to a locked sticky, simply PM me and I'll unlock it to do so. If you have general questions/comments on a sticky's content, starting a general thread should serve the purpose.
