I just bought some whit waxwood sticks and I really like them. When I use the Rattan sticks I can splinter them with in a couple of hours or so. I bought the American made Graphite sticks and snapped them on the 3rd hit. I rally like the waxwood one but what are some sticks that can take the heat in combat and last?

durattan. feels like ABS plastic, but takes a beating.

only negative is a little more 'hand shock' than wood. some athletic tape on the grip area should take care of that.

I started out this year with a pair of I&I sticks and they made it to April. I replaced them with a pair of Century MAS rattan sticks and they are still going strong. Thats using them for class three times a week and my daily solo practice. I dont use them for tire/bag impact training, I just use some wood sticks for that. I'm not a big fan of using the polymer or graphite sticks for stick on stick drills, no real reason, just my preferance.
