Sticky Consolidation Thread?

No dog in this hunt. Just offering what I hope is a constructive suggestion.
The Busse subforum used to resemble ESEE in that half the threads on page one were Stickies.
The mods have consolidated a number of them into one thread so you can actually see new posts again.
If the mods here want folks to read the Stickies, they could name the consolidation thread, "READ THIS OR WE'LL STEAL YOUR DAUGHTER AND IMPREGNATE YOUR DOG."
 
Of course, if people don't own a daughter or a dog, the ESEE retribution team could always leave one or both on their doorsteps, pregnant in either case. :p

We used to not have many stickies at all and people were always begging for stickies and the mods didn't want to turn the page into half stickies.

Honestly, there hasn't been enough content lately to hurt anything. They'll clean up some with a little time.
 
I'll 3rd that. Way too many stickies on the page.

Also I notice more than 1 sticky on practicaly the same info. In example, 2 DPX Hest stickies, countless contest stickies, ESEE FAQ and 1095 and rust, and so on...

Maybe you all can combine a few of those threads and clean up the clutter.

yeah I'm up for this as well!!!! half way down the first page you see the first thread.....
 
And maybe a consolidation of duplicate threads... such as those looking for updates, pictures, submissions for waiting lists.. for the HEST. It gets a little confusing and hard to keep track of.

Or, just keep things as they are and I'll keep coming back again and again!

are you tellin me that 17 stickies is excessive?! :eek: :p


i brought it up earlier in the year and the consolidation idea was shot down. the wall of stickies is here to stay i suppose.
 
At the time it came up before we only had 10 stickies and they were reasonably important info.

I've been on the fence on this one myself over the last few weeks watching the number jump up.

On the one hand, it is a wall of stuff to skip over, on the other hand, how much work is it to click the "2" at the bottom to see the next group of threads?

I think I'll do some revamping up there and see if I can't trim it down a bit.

Your opinions are appreciated and duely noted.
 
Thanks brother, I cut it down to ten stickies.

Now I'll wait at my email inbox for Jeff and Tony to yell at me.:D
