Sticky lock

Hey all,
I recently purchased a new PM 2 and it came with a sticky lock out of the box. This was my for PM2 and I was very excited, but the sticky lock really bothers me. I brought it from kniveworks.com so I was wondering if I should just return the knife and buy a new one, or if I should contact spyderco and try to get them to fix it. Thanks for any feed pack or suggestions.

Knifeworks has excellent customer service. Call them, explain your issue and you should be able to swap it out.
 
Try a little pencil lead in between the contact surfaces until it breaks in a bit.
