Sticky Sticky Please Read

I've had a couple of suggestions on stickies.

I see the advantage to both. It's nice not to scroll half-way down the page , but it's nice and easy to find good info.

Here's one suggestion that I was sent.

Either suggestion seems reasonable to me. I believe the second is more viable, because the first would require a lot of editing by mods.
 
This is a good place to say "Thank You" for cleaning up the "Newby Thread" and re-stickyin' it.

Mods have a thankless job and you guys don't need any more work. I agree with GibsonFan.
 
I think the stickies cut down on newbys like me asking to many questions over and over again. I don't know about everone else but my search function doesn't work most of the time. I don't know if it's my computer or the site. I do believe the second idea would work best.

No, it is not your computer. I have a hard time searching. It seems like if you put in two or more words it comes up blank. Put in one word and it works. The best forum but poor search function. Oh well I still love this place.
 
I will try the single word; thanks for the info. I still love this place also. I am not complaining, I just know the veterana around here get tired of the same questions.
 
Yeah, the search feature can be picky but does work, there is a search FAQ somewhere thats worth reading, good luck with it.

I agree with the others in that the second choice should be less work for you guys in the Mod group. Only thing I might add is that there are at least some great links to get yanked out of that first post.

And thanks for the hard work guys, we do appreciate it.
