Sticky vs not Sticky lock...

So my CQC-8 has zero stick and the lock is just fully touching the lock face. My Mini Commander has the same lock position, but has some stickiness.

I actually prefer the stickiness. The 8 is just too easy to unlock.....In fact if I hold it a certain way the flesh on my finger can just about disengage the lock.
 
My jungle commander is the easiest to unlock that I have, butter smooth but I have never experienced any chance of it accidentally coming unlocked. Maybe a difference in hands and shape of the handle.

I don't mind a sticky lock either unless it is a pain to unlock. I have one model that has lock sticky so bad if I wave it I need a coin to unlock it. Seems no matter how much I use that one it just won't wear in.

Doesn't stop me from using it though. ;)
 
I have no problem with a little lock stick on ANY knife. To me it just confirms a good, solid lock every time.

Because then the liner lock will break-in nicely... all by itself.

The only knife I have a problem with is my Traveler BTS, and that's only because I don' carry it because it's too small for me.
