Recently got a C.S. Trail Guide Lg. Clip Point. The action seemed quite stiff out of the box with 0 play. While i have never even handled a Spyderco,Benchmade,CRKT,ect; It seems like a very good knife for $20.00. First I tried spray silicone then white lithium grease on it. Neither seemed to make a lot of difference. The i washed off all the old stuff + put a LITTLE bit of Quantum Hot Sauce Reel Oil on + worked it in about 75-100 times. It opens+closes very slick now + still has zero play. Just thought I would pass along that this is a VERY good knife lube as far as i am concerned.
