Stiff detent on frame lock

Does anyone know of a cure for a stiff detent on a frame lock kinife?

Usually usage will solve this problem. If it's a new knife contact the seller or manufacturer. If all else fails take it apart and file down the frame lock.

Bend it out a little......simple.

You can bend the lock a little, or artificially wear the detent by putting moderate pressure on the lock bar while cycling it. This has worked for me quite a few times. Just be careful with modifying a knife. A little goes a long way, and ruining a knife is easier than one would think.
