I thougt about the Stiff Kiss. I think it works as well as the La Griffe imitation...

CRKT Stiff KISS doesn't look anything like a La Griffe, IMO.I have a Stiff kiss, and I dunno what steel they use, but this chesel edge sucker takes a WICKED edge, and that edge polishes up very easily to a sick mirror finish on the edge. I have been bitten removing it from the sheath however 
Other than that IMO it is a great CHEAP knife option, I carry it when I fish jetties and stuff, vertically on the shoulder strap of my Grundens. The other fisherman give me room
