I hear they're on sale somewhere.... don't want to run afoul of the anti dealspotting thing here, so won't say where. I think the sale price is about $15.

So they're a good deal. The thing is, I look at the knife and wonder what he hell I would do with it. Tantos are for stabbing. No belly for slicing. To me a knife is not a weapon because I have so many other options that work better.

Any ideas? I have no use for a "neck knife" and doubt I would need to stab anybody while white water rafting.

Would they make good throwers? At that price I would be interested in buying them to throw. The tanto point makes sense to me for that use....

I have one that is not a tanto blade but it comes in a tanto sheath.. I thought it would be a good knife to have in a small pocket with my kukri. I use it fishing sometimes to cut line.
