Stiff Opening Wave 2004

The straight-edge blade on my New Wave is very stiff to open. The serrated edge blade opens very smooth. Does anyone else have this issue or can anyone recommend a way of correcting this? I've tried Rem-Oil and have made sure the hinge is very clean, still it sticks when opening.

I know it won't "flick" open like my Spyderco, but I think it should at least be as smooth as the serrated blade on the opposite side. Due to the tamper-proof hinge bolts, I can't just loosen it up a bit.

Those tamper proof bolts aren't all that tamper proof. I just dremeled the center post down, and used regular Torx bits to take apart my Wave.
