Just got this in the mail, new in the package and it's fairly stiff. How can I loosen it up a bit..?

Fidget with it a lot then clean and lube it.

Native 5 locks are solid. Try a little lube.

Back the pivot off just a hair (if doing so allows for no blade play), use compressed air to blow out any debris, and add a light (very light) application of lube to the tang on the path followed by the lock bar. Most importantly.. keep using it. All of my G10 Natives have broken in pretty quickly with use.

I got a native 5 Rex 45 delivered yesterday and compared to my M4 native 5 I noticed the Rex was a little tougher to flick than the M4 was when received. I lubed it and have been toying with it I’m sure it will wear in.
