Stiletto identification

Looks like a tourist souvenir. Unless there are any makers marks on it, I'd be very surprised if anyone could accurately tell you who made it or when.

EDIT: I found a few online. I don't know how accurate the info is, but they are described as Japanese. And apparently they come in a variety of colors.

And here is a similar design, also described as Japanese. According to the description it is marked "G.C.Co" which is the Gutman Cutlery Co. out of New York (likely an import company). The description I read said this knife is from the 1950's, but I don't know if that is accurate.

If your knife has no such markings it could be a later version imitation. Though similar, the differences are obvious.

I have seen many like that on Ebay and like you say they all list Japan as country of origin.
