Even though the Nessmuk is not really popular anymore, it`s one of my favorites, a classic.

Hi Stomper -

It looks great in tulip wood that's for sure.

Still my favorite. It's the knife that brought you to my attention. One day I will have one.

Popularity is over rated. A good knife is a good knife. Thing I like about the Nessmuk is all of the variations. All the Nessies are based off a picture, not the actual knife. That leads to lots of interesting variations of shape, size, thickness, edge grind, and feel.

John, what is the longest blade you have ever put on a Nessmuk? I'm thinking that a six to six and a half inch Nessmuk would be perfect.

Agree John, it's a classic design. If I didn't already have one made by Andy from Fiddleback knives I'd probably be ordering one from you as one of my next knives, lovely job!

I couldn't agree with you more,John. The Nessmuk is one of my favorite designs of all time.

Protourist, I have that 8" Nessie but since I'm not at home I can't post a picture. Seems like I have about 5 of John's Nessies!
