Still can't renew membership. Authorize.net error

Well, this morning I have tried a couple of dozen more times to upgrade my membership and pay via authorize.net. The first time I got a message that said authorize.net servers could not handle the requests they were receiving and try again later. I tried again later and could not reach the site at all. I tried many more times and received the error 99 message each time. Clearly, authorize.net is diverting all requests to the generic error message page. I wonder what kind of problems they are having and when we will be able to renew our memberships. Maybe we should start an "Authorize.net sucks because..." thread. That should help. :)

I get the same error.
I'll give 1sks a call and pay for it.

Damn electron gremlins

Ok, working on it. Please be patient. For the time being, use the old system, linked at the top of this subforum

Ok, did some more research. None of the attempts that you guys are making are even showing up in the forums transaction logs, or the authorize.net logs.

At the same time, the subscription service IS working, since we've gotten a few subscriptions overnight and today.

I'm going to say, use the old system for now.

I had trouble renewing because the form specified the expiration date as MMYY. So I put in 0707. I was getting a generic form error until I decided to try puting the hash into it as 07/07. Then it went through fine. I think the form works, but their error handling stinks. Youre basically getting unhandled exception notices when there whould be specific messages returning as to why your request could not be submitted.

Response Code 99 indicates that the payment gateway could not authenticate the transaction fingerprint submitted for a Simple Integration Method (SIM) transaction. This error is received when the transaction fingerprint recreated by the payment gateway does not match the transaction fingerprint submitted in x_fp_hash.

heres the resolution tool:

Ok, it might be fixed now, but I'm not sure. Anyone who wants to try, let me know

OK - I'm all set. It worked using authorize.net.

A bit of advice to anyone using authorize.net. Use the "/" hash mark in your expiration date for your card, like MM/YY rather than MMYY as the form indicates. If you make an error and get an error message that tells you something like there's an address mismatch or it can't find the hash mark in the date, it's best to exit out of the payment window and start back over - if you use the browser BACK button to get back to the form to make changes, you will continue to get error messages.

Thanks Spark, TikTock, and the others for your help getting this done.

ok, RV you are renewed. Mr Willis, you are having CC issues, you should call us.

I just used the form from the top of the page to order with a credit card.
Worked fine for me....
