Still getting the BOUNCED e-mail message

Hey gang,

Couple months back I was encouraged to change my e-mail address from the Hotmail account I was using. Link to original thread:

So after changing e-mail accounts in my profile and de-selecting the "Bounced Email" user group, I am still getting the message at the top of the screen.

It goes on to explain that I am a really horrible person... to which I wholeheartedly agree... but here's the weird part: When I switched e-mails, I actually received an e-mail from BFC acknowledging the change, and I've been happily receiving e-mail notifications that I have PMs and such ever since without any problem. Apparently they are not bouncing.

Is there some other step I'm missing in order to complete this transformation?

This is actually kind of funny now. I'm thinking of copying and pasting it as my new sig-line if I can't get it to vanish.

Anybody have a suggestion as to why I'm still seeing it?

Sure, I could fire up another e-mail account somewhere else, but why should I when it appears that the current e-mail is responding per specs?

You needed to actually leave the Bounced group
