OK! All seems to be working fine but can not attach! I can open attachments on other threads to include Photo's. I have an avatar! That worked real easy and everything else seems fine. When I click on Manage Attachments nothing happens. Pop ups are being allowed and I get other pop ups on my internet. I have the box checked for pop ups under my options on blade forums.

I will admitt that I don't know to much about computers and this may seem like a stupid question but here goes.

When you guys attach stuff are doing it from say your desk top or a file on your computer or do I have to some how input the file first into blade forums? I am thinking that the Manage Attachments does'nt work because there is no attachments to manage. If I am like lost in space please let me know.

Last but not least I will do only one thread for this problem, don't want to upset anyone!

Thanks for all your help!

When you click the Manage Attachments a window is supposed to pop up -- I'll attach a screen capture to this post. The next step is to click the Browse button and browse your hard drive for the file you want to attach, but you can't do that until the window pops up for you. I don't understand what your problem is, if it isn't a popup ad blocker and you have active scripting enabled in your browser.

Hey Cougar....I just clicked on your attachment and guess what? It didn't open up into a new prowser window. It asked me if I wanted to OPEN - SAVE - or CANCEL. I clicked on open and it opened the pic in my picture viewing program. That is not supposed to happen. Something got fouled up and it needs fixing...fast.

**I just opened some other attachments correctly but your is still opening up the wrong way.

Just out of curiousity Cougar: How did you create and attach that specific image? There is something seriously weird with it. I also had to Save or Open it outside of IE to see it. Plus when I saved it to my hard drive it was listed as blocked content? An Al Qaida hidden message maybe?

All I did was take a screen capture of that window, using an old picture viewing/editing program called LView Pro 1.D2/32 (long obsolete, but I'm used to it). I saved it as a jpg and it was a reasonable file size so I uploaded without editing.

I still don't understand why it opens as a file rather than in an IE window.

I don't understand it either. It did that for me too, once -- the first time I opened it. Since that first time it opens normally every time I try it. All I can say is I didn't do it deliberately....

It seems to be working now. At least for me.
