Still having AVATAR problems

I see that a lot of people have a custom avatar. Are they from before the change, and therefore already on the server? When I try to use a custom and select it everything goes fine. Then I hit submit changes and it says that there was an error with the upload. I'm not trying to be pushy if the upload feature is not working yet, but if it is, can someone advise? I put the image in my sig line. I also have one that is 50x50 and it won't upload either. Thanks for any help
 
Same here, This is the message I keep getting. . .

There has been an error in the upload. Please ensure that the file has been correctly selected and that the upload has taken place successfully.

I have followed the instructions but it will not take the pic. so I can't use it. Someone with a better understanding please advise :D
 
Mine is from before the change. If I were to want to change my avatar now the largest one that I could have is 50 X 50 pixels.

At the top of this forum there is a thread marked Important that is titled Avatar Instructions. Check it out.

Edited to correct a couple of typos.

The size did not matter I have tried both a 120x90 and a 50x40 and neither will upload. I would much rather have the bigger pic. as you can hardly see a 50x50. I wonder if I could email the pic to Sparks and have him "install" it for me?


As for the instructions, been there, done that, did not work. . .
 
Me too! I followed the instructions to the letter, but get the same message as Greymoor
 
sorry guys, I wasn't paying too much attention when I checked out the above thread. It would seem that Spark posted those instructions a couple of years ago. That thread obviously has nothing to do with the current problems. I figure that spark is still having problem associated with the move and the new servers. The problem might also stem from the latest forum software upgrade.
