just in case anybody was wonderin', i'm not dead, they outlawed internet use at work :grumpy:and i haven't had much time at home but i'm still here:D

I feel for ya, my new job doesn't allow me internet time either, and while adjusting to my new schedule I haven't been able to get on here hardly at all. I think our employer's just don't understand that we need our bladeforum fix. :D
 
soon to be wife's lawfirm has blocked all internet access( I.T. nazi's), the next week a half dozen of the girls bought new phones with internet capability, just 4 times as slow. All the company has done is increased the time it takes them to check the weather,news etc ... on their dime and no trace on the work computers.
 
That sucks. But, it happens to the best of us sometimes. Although I don't work in an office..
 
I can use the internets all day long at my job.:D
It's a slow as heck DSL server though.
 
Yeah they shut down personal internet use us at work too... but since I'm the one that does it.... :D
 
If for nothing else, grab an iPhone for browsing the internet, 5.56 tells me the 3G screams, my GSM does well sometimes.

I love my iPhone 3G and it does great for surfing BladeForums. Sadly, I'm not allowed to even use my phone (except for a small text) whilst at work. Really annoying.... :mad:
