I ve never had to throw away a spyderco. You're entitled to your opinion but examples would give your post more credibility.

Well he has been here since 2009 and is good for about two posts a year. Aren't we lucky this was one of them.

I can't recall ever having a junk or "throwaway" Spydero honestly even the worse ones I have seen and handled were still good in my opinion. Every Spyderco I have handled was razor sharp and even their lowest tier steel blades were and are more than good enough for a user. Their frn plastic handles proved to be very rugged and more than up to the task. The plasic handle eliminated a lot of the extra work and care that other materials needed to insure they did not rust, crack, warp etc....

Spydero is innovative they bucked the popular trend of making pretty looking knives and decided that good ergonomics, quality, and function should trump looks so they made knives that some people consider ugly (not me I find them unique, functionable, and beautiful) but had the best ergonimics and practical design among most other knives on the market, and it did not go unnoticed. They became successful, people craved and brought them, and every one under the sun copied their designs.

What's with these trolls that have an account for years, post almost nothing, then pop up to spew abject stupidity?

Ahhhhh, screw it.. let it roll!

Sal will post something classy and way above and beyond what this guy deserves. Then 30+ of us will go and buy another Spyderco.

Hi Bateman,

We're holding our own. We've expanded our line. We sell wool sunglasses.

It talks all kind of animals to make a forest and without the leeches and mosquitoes, one might not appreciate the hawks and the deer.
