There was a picture from "The Photo Shoot of The Definitive Emerson Collection's of the Millenium" by John Hollister. Nyeti's has grown and mine is reduced. We had our collections documented for all to enjoy and see.
It might havew been lost during the transfer of data.
I have a CF-3 and it is my favorite emerson Custom Fixed Blade.
Mine is the REAL DEAL and I have not seen any like it. I'm told about 3 were made. I have not been able to verify that.
I will NOT sell it and if you are able to find one I strongly recommend you purchase it. It is Black Oxide, Single bevel chisel
ground w/ Black G-10 Scales and is RAZOR SHARP !
I have sold many fixed blades for they just do not match the CF-3's balance, ergonomics, attributes et al etc.

Tamishigiri - Good to see your post. The pictures of the two collections together were awesome and thanks to John for putting them on the forums recently.

I owned this CF-3 before trading it to Tamishigiri for an EMERSON Logo Viper 3 in mint condition. The CF-3 is the best full sized fixed blade that Emerson made. This particular CF-3 was originally owned by a former SEAL and I suspect that the remaining CF-3's went to guys in the Teams. If this is the case then Tamishigiri's may be the only existing CF-3 in unused condidtion.
Of course this is speculation but when it comes to Emerson Customs, particularly fixed blades, speculation is often as close as one gets.
I will say that the Tactical Persian is the only other Emerson fixed blade that I hold with such high regard. it is smaller than Ernie's regular fixed blade line-up but a wicked knife nonetheless. Ernie figures that he made about three of these as well.
