I`ve been carrying this one for several weeks, and it`s still my favorite, the Iris V 2.0 (no swedge). I`ve even turned down two offers to sell it!

That in black canvas micarta with the swedge would be nice. One more knife added to my wish list.
 
I think you have a winner here, offering in an economic base model with out handle material might be a good option?
