Still No Club Knife...

Still nothing in the mail??? What seems to be the problem? There was a post a while back about a mailing coming soon with all the details... I never got one? Tomorrow is November... getting kind a late isn't it. I've been a member all year, and have received one newsletter. If this is how the club operates I will not be renewing my membership next year. The whole reason I joined this club is the promise of TRADITIONAL patterned genuine bone handled club knives, I'm just glad I didn't pay for a life membership, as then I'd really be upset, at least I only paid $10.00 to be let down instead of $100.00.

I hear ya Mumbly Peg, back on June 16th I signed on and paid for a yearly membership in both the Case club and the Camillus Club........I have recieved a catalog,two club mags, a special offer all from the CASE club :D and nothing as of yet from the Camillus club........... :mad:

Fraud is very strong word.
I am sure you will see a 2004 club knife soon. It was already announced that is was to be a large barlow.

My memory isn't the best but I think it wasn't until November before Camillus presented last year's (the first) club knife. I don't guess there is a rule stating that they have to sell it in the summer like Case. :)

About the number of newsletters, I only remember getting three last year. And they do promise four. :( But I'm willing to give them a little bit of slack since it is a new club and I'm sure they have to work some bugs out. I believe the Buck Collectors Club had a problem getting its newsletters out its first few years. But I don't know that for a fact. Just looks that way looking at their archived materials.

But, as I've stated somewhere before, I don't guess I have much choice on trusting them as I have a lifetime membership. :rolleyes:

I also have a lifetime membership in the Case Collectors Club and the Buck Collectors Club. I hate renewing each year and the prices seem a bargain. :D

edited to add: I intend to get a Gold membership here soon. But I refuse to use credit cards and I hadn't quite figgered out how to send a check. But I will. :D
 
Guys,
One thing I try not to do is make excuses for things that should have been done. The newsletters should have beenout by now and the club knife should be well into production. Fact is the Club Knife Proto will be done Wednesday so the order form can be printed along with the next newsletter. Please hang in there, it promises to be a great Christmas! :)

I'm waiting on a couple of pics which I should have by Monday or Tuesday and the newsletter and order information will be going to the printers. Mailings by Friday, I expect.
 
Well I received my Camillus Connection newsletter yesterday with the orderform for the 2004 club knife. I will be sending in my check tomorrow (payday). I am looking forward to adding this large barlow to my collection.

Just received my club newsletter and order form for the 2004 club knife, and just sent in my order. Nice to see a high quality bone stag, and even nicer to see a grand daddy barlow! Well worth the wait yes indeed. I also like the new "Gran'pa" series, will definitely have to pick up a few of those too. Well done Camillus!
