Still no Gunting. Where are they?

I have been waiting for my collector club Gunting forever it seems. When will they be shipping?

This is a tiny picture of Sal and Bram and I. I am holding a Gunting Trainer, Bram is holding the real deal, and I think Sal was holding the Temperance proto.

I have a numbered one (471) and I am wondering if the lock has been upgraded/tweaked after this one was made or does this one already have the upgraded/tweaked lock? - and what was changed on the lock?

part of it is called patience.. I know that you will get your knives,,nothing wrong with what went out...just SPYDERCO geetting little things even more together..
you know, "no wine before its time.."

None of you will even know anything was done
to the other later ones..

and please remember..I personally threw the whole shedule off by getting knives out to my people as you all know for the Hall of Fame, BEACH BLADE etc...BEFORE SPYDERCO or Poppa SPYDER were really ready....

so PLEASE bear with all of us..

Bram, I know I need to be patient, but it is so hard to wait since talking with you and Sal at the 2000 Blade Show and holding the Gunting in my hands. Hopefully I will have mine by the 2001 Blade Show and maybe you and Sal can sign the box for me. Sorry for bugging you guys. I just can't wait.

Hi NCBlades. Please accept my applogies.

We decided to make a change in the model. Once the decision was made, all shipping was held until the adjustment could be made.

It's a minor change in the difference (not visible) but we have to make it somewhere in the production line. We opted for sooner rather than later. We appreciate your patience and kind understanding and will watch closely as you stone Bram.

Production version was OKed by me at the SHOT SHOW,,so hold on GUNTAHOLIC wannabees.. the GUNTINGs are coming out very very soon to a mailbox close to you..
It was the hit of the show..
