And I'm not kidding, guys. Don't know if any one else out there has this problem. But, the brown stink bug (imported from China for some damn reason, and of course, subsequently got loose) has thrived (no known predators).

My house and garage have thousands of these harmless, but nasty little critters on them and my shop is filled with them. A real PITA!!!

The good news is when the temp starts falling, they will become inactive. There is no known solution for dealing with them at the present, although they do a lot of damage to crops and the agricultural community is working towards a chemical solution.

Anyone else have these critters?

Sam, you can melt them, shoot them, burn them by the thousands, and the next day they are back with reinforcements. Best not to upset them:)

I don't think they have spread too far down south yet, but I bet they really thrive in the deep southern states!

Try a solution of borax (20 mule team) and water use a spray bottle, spray it on the floor, around the walls, works for roaches also. The borax seems to freeze up their legs, it is cheaper than the commercial stuff and works just as good. It will not leave any poison residue and is harmless to humans.

My Labrador, Lewton, loves them, hunts them down eats them and considers them a great delicacy.

Thanks Ed, Ill give it a shot. Ha, 20 Mule team borax-cleans clothes, great flux, and now-stink bug killer!

They attack my house every fall here in CT. They make it in through holes in the window screens but I just shut the windows and blow their crusty little carcasses out in the spring.

Boron compounds are used for various insects .Borax, boric acid and others are used. By far the safest pesticide !!!

It will take a few days to work so don't give up.

I learned it from the local weed and pest man. I had some very tiny bugs (could not see them) that lived in my mattress, every morning I would wake up with new bites. Took off the matress pad and spread some borax on it and in 3 eays no more bites.

I just recently finished my house and moved in. For a while I was continusly sweeping up and killing centipeds. There were hundreds of them. After spraying a mix of water and boric acid in the brick weep holes and around the moulding I have no more bugs coming in the house. They were real fun for a while though, think about getting up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, crunch, crunch, crunch. :barf: At least with tile floors I could see them fairly easily.
