Picked one up on sale and I was looking at it. Where is the blade stop I was wondering? Looks like the lockbar also doubles as the blade stop? Anyone know about this first for me anyway?

It's got an internal stop pin, either fixed and running in a channel inside the blade tang or mounted directly to the blade tang and running in a channel in the scales. Both of those arrangements have some minor benefit in improving lateral stability, but all three kinds of stop pin are pretty much equally valid. I do like the internal stop pin setups better because it's more polished looking and neat, plus the stability thing

I see it now, the stop pin is fixed on the handle. The way the cut out on the handle is it looks like it lets the lockbar rest on it. (The blade) I like the knife myself, at first I was like not so impressed but after spending some time with it I see it puts a big blade in a small handle. I heard complaints about the jimping, having to drag your finger over it when opening. But, I find you certainly don't have to do that. Just change position and hold your finger straighter and I clear the jimping easily. Opens great everything is spot on. Good buy IMO especially now that it's on sale at a substantial discount.
