It's not magnetic, so I'm curious what it's made of. I tried to search but only come up with aftermarket options. Those led me to believe the stock is not titanium, but possibly it is because Spyderco uses titanium for other hardware like the Salt clips. If it is Aluminum, then I'm glad I checked it with a magnet, because assuming it was steel I almost flame bronzed it. That would have been an embarrassing mistake, trying to flame my lanyard tube and ending up with a puddle  🤣

Anyhow, thanks in advance.

Update: Turns out not just the lanyard tube, but standoff and screws appear to be Ti. I knew aluminum didn't seen right, and when I checked the screws and they were also not magnetic it confirmed this. I went ahead and bit the bullet and flamed them all (didn't feel like getting the power source out and the colors I was going for work fine with flame).

Makes me wonder about the market for aftermarket Ti parts. This was a Maxamet Para3 BTW

Some stainless steels are non magnetic.

Interesting...Both flame bronze easily so it's hard to say, but if I had to guess I'd say it behaved more like Ti. I realize that there probably won't be an official response in this thread since it might encourage disassembly and modding, which I know they (understandably) don't support. For me though, I can no more stop myself from doing it than I can stop myself from breathing the air. I love Spydercos and I love making things my own. Either way, all's well that ends well 👍
