Stockman question

Lately, I've been looking to add a small stockman to my EDC. Of the scale materials I've seen, I really like the look of blue bone. Stag and other fine scales are of course nice, but there's something about that blue that I really like.

Are there any makers other than Case that offer a small stockman with blue bone(or perhaps a similarly appearing material)? If possible, I'd like to get one with carbon rather than stainless steel too.

If not, are there other small stockmans that have a for lack of a better word, "glitzy" handle scales?

If enough of you guys just tell me to opt for stag or jigged bone or whatever, that's enough to convince me. I'd rather the knife be of high quality and have "heart" than be attractive. I'm a Spyderholic after all.;)

My 3-3/8" Queen Abalone stockman is a beauty. Even some of the office women had to admit that point. Kind of slick but don't intend to do anything aggressive with such a small knife anyway.

May I ask you why you want a small stockman? I've found that the medium is much more useful than either the small or large stockman for EDC duties.

If you want carbon steel you can get a Case amber bone or red bone series knife with CV blades. Don't know how much it is exactly, but if you shop around you should be able to find one around the $40 mark.

I want a small one because I already carry around enough junk in my pockets. I usually carry a medium or large folder or a fixed blade for bigger tasks. The small stockman will be for more varied delicate and precise work. The small seems to suit me best in this regard. Again, if you guys think the medium is clearly better, I'll defer to your experience. Thanks.

I find the small stockman size (under 3") perfect for EDC. I have a med Case stockman also and it is way to cumbersome for EDC in an office environment.

I would not even look past Case. I can't think of anyone else that makes a small stockman under 3".

I know several of the German brands have such knives but I much prefer the case myself.
