After looking at them for years i broke down and bought a Camillus Rough Cut stockman. I know these are the lower end of the Camillus knives but the fit and finish were very good and it was well under 20$ so I grabbed it. Looking it over when I got home I was surprised by the fact that it had steel liners, and no tang stamp just the Rough Cut blade etch. I wasn't sure if the blades were SS or carbon so I put a drop of lemon juice on each. I was surprised to see that I got both, as the clip point was SS and the other two are carbon. It made me smile, and think of a few 8OT's and 34OT's that I have stashed away with mixed blades also. I guess not knowing what your getting is the fun part some times! Joe

I love finding knives like that, I have a 1975 Case 2 blade jack that has 1 stainless and 1 CV blade.
