Stockman???

Most large stockman patterns stop at about 4 1/4" but this does not preclude a maker (custom or factory) from making a larger pattern.

If memory serves, Eye Brand used to have one that was 4.75" closed.

Most brands have a 4" stockman that they call either regular or large. Most 4.25" stockmans are called moose (as in moose stockman; just moose is a different pattern). Moore Maker offers one even larger, up to 4.5".

That Moore Maker is actually 4 3/8" but plenty big enough. I love mine.

How about the Schrade Old Timer 858OT jumbo stockman "USA" made 4 5/8". They are hard to find and pricy but a great piece of History.

Thank you for the answers!

I have a smaller Stockman from mr Bobby Toole – excellent knife. Now I have a new one on order and I want it to be large. 4 1/4 or maybe 4 1/2 seems to be a good size.
