Ok guys, I need you to keep an eye out for me for a couple of missing blades. About a month and a half ago, our house was broken into, and a bunch of jewelry, knives, and just over $8000 in cash was stolen. I didnt realize it at the time, but my Gossman PSKsr with black linen micarta scales, my mini tusker with the same scales were both stolen. None of my parawarpped PSK's were touched, nor my Kephart (cause I had it on me). As far as I can tell they didnt grab any other high end blades, but a couple of China made junkers. Almost all my folders, except the SAKs.

I have been selling off a lot of my blades simply to try and cover the bills the cash was suspose to cover. Anyways if you happen to see either of those blade pop up for sell, especially in the new england area, please let me know.

Thanks

So sorry to hear this MrCoffee. Hope the cops can catch those assholes.

Well we reported it, and filed a complaint, and everyone (including me) is 99% sure who did it, but we can not prove it. Sigh. But thanks for the thought.

Going to start watching the pawn shops and such, but I figured it might show up on here, fleaBay, or KF. Been a month and a half thou. :(

Sure hope you can resolve this. One thing I absolutely hate is a fu*kin' thief. If I ever caught anyone breaking into my shop, they'd be eating some 45 slugs.

So tempting, but...

Look at it this way, as soon as we get our feet under us again, you'll be getting a couple of orders from me. :)

Mr. Coffee, sorry to hear... If you have some pics on file of the stolen Gossmans, please post here so we can keep an eye out.

Hope the cops come knocking on your door with em...

any updates? :(

Yeah actually there is. Came home one night a few weeks ago to find all my custom knives in a bag at my door..... guess the guy couldnt move them as easy as he thought. So now I have the Mini Tusker, sold the PSKsr (thanks CDdogfan1!), and both PSKs to cover a couple of bills.

But at least I got them back :)

Thats awesome that you got them back! Just wish they would catch them I hate theives! But working in a prison I am always around the worst scum!

I bet! I don't envy your job at all! Actually the saddest part is we KNOW who the thief is.... we just can't prove it. I think he got the word how very very very (VERY!!!!) upset I was about the knives and that is why they returned home. Of course I was MORE upset about the cash, but I am sure that it had already changed into white powder.

Either way, I am very happy to have my blades back, and to be at the point where I do not have to sell them to make the car payment. :)

I'm glad you got them back, but that is absolute bs you had to go through. Maybe theres hope for that person, they actually brought them back to you.

Thanks guys. Well I think the reason I got them back was because the kid figured out I was checking all the pawnshops and such all the time, and his grandmother who lives across the street from us was all over him about the stuff.

I doubt there is hope for him without a sever lesson involved. Word out locally is that he is supected in more then 30 robbies, including the cop up the street from me, his uncle, and his sisters place. He has however made himself very very scarce in my area. Probably wise, now that I have my blades back :D

Are they filing charges on him yet. Only way he will learn is if he is punished. Make him pay some restutition. Hate a damn theif. If it ain't mine I do not want it!!!

Nope, no one but us filed a complaint... "Oh he is only 17... it will screw up his whole life.... he learned his lesson...." blah blah blah.

Mr.Coffee,
The people saying it will screw up his life have no clue what not nipping it in the bud will screw him up worse. I have 21 years in law enforcement and I see what happens when they don't do anything. The only way for someone to change is to have a signifigant emotional event in their life. I am not saying prison but some humiliating way of having to take responsibility for their action. I am with Scott if I catch someone in my house they will be having 45 slugs flying at them. watch your six because I have found out once they break in once they tend to think of it as an easy target.

Best of luck,
Mike
