Hi guys,
I know it's a long shot but if you ever get offered my old knife then could you contact me .. and the police :) As in THIS thread. Unlike the picture it will now be in new condition but with an old sheath so should stand out because of that ;) It probably will never turn up but as ebay over here bans the sale of knives then it could only really be offered to US collectors.
Thanks for looking, Mike.

That really sucks!!!!. I hope it get back to the rightful owner.

God, that sucks to hear. I sure hope you get it back, I know it's a long shot but I really hope you do.

Thanks guys .. it's probably been thrown away by now but I just thought it was worth a try here :)

Mike, That sucks that some idiot stole your Jereboam I sawback. I remember back when you posted it, asking if you should get it refurbished. What was the number on it, #70,71,73 or 78? And how was the Made in South Africa stamped, exactly where was it? Was it crossing the blade or long ways down the blade? All this would be very helpful in finding it.

I would put a stolen post on all the knife and gun forums

If I remember right it was 73 and just stamped SA ... my memory aint what it used to be :D

Just to update guys, I found the original CRK covering letter from the refurb and it was number 70.

That's a real bummer, Mike. Such a beautiful and rare piece too.

The thieving scum.

Fingers crossed and I hope it turns up for you, mate.
