A Busse second generation Battle Mistress walked out of World of Knives, Hopkins, MN late last week. The thieves didn't get the sheath though. If anybody sees any suspicious activity involving selling/trading a sheathless Busse, especially here in the midwest, please give me a shout. Thanks guys!

Madison, Wisconsin is a few hours drive down the Interstate from your possition. Heck, our stolen guns appear by you.

Can you post a pic? I'm known as a gun and knife collector here. Someone looking for cash might contact my friends.
 
Steven -- It is an Ergo handled model. I've seen it in the store.

I can't remember if the exposed tang was polished or crinkle coated.

Ichabod -- It's the standard BM-E that was recently discontinued.
 
2nd generation Battle Mistress!? I really wish to know more about this knife (yes, I am a fan of Busse I must admit). Have you got a link or a photo of the knife?

By the way, I would like to take this chance to thanks Spikeymikey for his help over a topic on daggers, and to Buzzbait on a blade convexity issue, to Murnax and Sharp Phil for helping me to understand how the "LAWK" locking system works. :) :) :)

I went to yahoo and pulled the BM-E up for a pic. I now know what it is. If I see it at a knife show, a gun shop or it is offered up for sale to one of my friends, I'll act immediately.

It will stand out. I don't think Busse sells a lot of knives in my area.
