It is a common practice in Law Enforcement and other professions to leave gear in a "take home" patrol vehicle or whatever you drive to aid expedited response if needed. However, if one does NOT have a SECURE / ENCLOSED parking area, this recent example is just why leaving certain gear in the vehicle is NOT to be recommended.

ANYONE may become complacent at times and therefore, it is desirable to become better educated by incidents that occur to other persons instead of the "school of hard knocks."

This is NOT intended to needlessly disparage the officer (we are positive that he has headache enough over this) but the musical accompany seemed appropriate.

It is hoped that the firearm and gear depicted is recovered soon, that there are no innocent casualties, and that the officer experiences no undeserved consequences.
