OK... I recently acquired a couple knives f/ John a maker here on the forum (aka Stomper or JK) and to say I'm impressed would be an understatement.
Today I was able to get out in my backyard and hammer the edge and point on some very hard and seasoned Pecan wood. This stuff is like trying to hack thru concrete... I kid you not.
This model is referenced here w/the specs (I didn't measure and don't have them in hand)

The fit and finish is excellent on this knife and the leather sheath is very nice too... nothing fancy, just heavy duty and usable. The handle fills the hand nicely and the contours are subtle, yet well enough to feel and see them quite nicely (if that makes any sense)
The only thing I might change up a bit is the edge geometry. It is a bit think on the bevel, but still quite sharp. I almost always end up thru sharpening turn my V bevels into convex edges and may try that on this one purposefully to see how it works. I tried my hand at chopping the hard Pecan and although I wasn't able to cut thru a lot of the wood, I hit it HARD and at glancing angles and odd angle to see if I could dent/chip or smash the edge and after about 30-40 whacks there was still virtually no sign of usage and the edge is still quite sharp. I also took the tip and buried it in the core of one of the Pecan cuts and then tried to bend the tip or break it to no avail. The blade held up quite nicely and I'm confident I didn't even scratch the surface of what this knife is capable of.
And at the price John charges I think you'd be hard pressed to find anything for a better buy right now.
OK.... so enough rambling, here is some eye candy that we ALL love...
Several attempts to bend or break the tip and nare a scratch...
and the tip
Size comparison to one of John's Lobo knife models... another HOSS blade...
